The May meeting of the Lake San Marcos Democratic Club will be held on Saturday, May 10th, with social time starting at 10:30 followed by the meeting at 11 am. The focus of the meeting will be on the upcoming June 3rd primary election. Local candidates running for election have been invited to present the key elements of their platforms. James Kimber, who is running for Congress against Duncan Hunter in the 50th Congressional District, Dave Peiser, running for Congress against Darrell Issa in the 49th Congressional District, Susan Guinn, running for County Assessor and Jim Wood, running for County Supervisor against Bill Horn, will all be there to address our club. Additionally, a representative of Karla Keehn, candidate for Superior Court Judge, will also address the club on the judicial election process.
