Demand Changes in Gun Control!

Many of us are sickened and depressed by recent atrocious acts in Connecticut.  What can we do to fight against this type of violent act?   Come join us January 6th, Sunday, 1:00 PM at the Club House next to the Pavilion where we hold our monthly meetings.

RIGHT NOW YOU CAN:

  1. Write or e-mail our President and tell him how you feel about the NRA and the need for gun control.
President Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500
Phone: (202) 456-1414

At Democratic workshops, I have been told that LEGIBLE hand writing is a most effective way to be “heard”.   OR E-mail our President: http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/submit-questions-and-comments.

The HOW is not as important as DOING so however you can, write that letter.

2. Write or e-mail Senator Feinstein:  https://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/e-mail-me

Copy and paste this address in your browser.

Or write:

Senator Feinstein
750 B Street, Suite 1030
San Diego, CA 92101
Phone: (619) 231-9712
Fax: (619) 231-1108.

3. Several of us want to get together and plan a long term strategy to work in support of gun controlWe propose a committee with like minded folks to come up with a plan possibly to include:

A.     Elected officials (Scott Peters, Dave Roberts come to mind or others from San Diego),

B.     Folks who want to raise funds for existing committees already working on this,

C.     Work in tandem with Senator Feinstein’s office to support her efforts,

D.     Create public events/protests.

These are but a few of many possibilities.  Come join us January 6th, Sunday , 1:00 PM, at the Club House next to the Pavilion where we hold our monthly meetings.
